what do i do against f14s, they just shoot an aim7f at me and i just die, in stock mla btw.

dont have time to notch and stuff

every game in the mla i just die to an f14

use trees to covermyself

Take a long way round to insure survival and then do your best to get behind them

ive been able to get behind enemy teams by flying straight at bombing points in an F4E

consistantly

I dont turn with them

ill dodge if the missile starts getting close because its a clunky thing

but other then that im heading straight to keep my speed up

its situational, go at the angle it would be at the hardest to turn at

if its coming from the right for example jerk left and up

ive tried but they have such a big proxy distance it really doesnt matter if i dodge

eh, sometimes you'll get gaijined

but thats the way the bird crumbles

just try to break locks and if that dosent work try to avoid missiles

be erratic

i mean good timing also helps with that, best way to counter them in my experience is to get close, real close and either gun them or if you have good enough IR missiles use those, or you can beg gaijin to add compressor stalls and flaps jamming

i probably can deal with f14s better when i get the r24s

its hard with a gsh 23 and 2 r13s

should i use r24r or r24t?

24T if i'm honest, yes flares can distract it but you don't need a radar lock to fire it so something like the F-14 know its coming if you flank them
