The best way is naval or going for ground/bombing targets in air realistic they give you some silver lions and is the way I have earned over 600k without premium

Not much SL for 3 hours I can make that much in 1 or 2 navy games under 30 min total TBH

SIM really good for RP. I once got half the rp needed for a 7,0 jet in one SiM match (that was with wyvern, plus got the win bonus which is higher for SiM)

Yeah for sl prem bomber is good

I got a 75 percent discount recently for prem soviet b25j so naturally I got it, and it's pretty damn good, but bloody moffet and ju 288 probably gets 10x more still

Difference is, I play war thunder for the grind and the fun, and I don't find naval fun, so I personally would go for prem plane
