give me a step by step guide on how to kill ju288s, they used to be doable before the anm3 nerf but now they tank everything i shoot at them. All of my 8 deaths in the f8f 1b are to the ju288

Don't go behind them. The 20mm turret on the rear fires Minengeschoß (spelling might be off). This will 1 tap you. I would say the best way to attack is from above, or front and above. They can get a 20mm and 4x 13mms on you if you attack from behind and below. The 288 is very resilient to fires in my experience playing it, so aiming for the engine or fuel is not the best idea.

thats what some guys do when im using Ju 288c since it cant dive since it can rip easily

Ok I’ve been using it lately and i can tell you that you will not kill one on its first run unless they aren’t paying attention, by the second run they’ll be much lower on speed and an easier target, and don’t get behind one, and frontally if one pulls up you need to pull as well otherwise it might get its rear guns on you

Dive on the Ju 288 from the front, if you don't kill it don't try to turn around and get it, since that usually means you're behind them, and 20mm go bang
If you don't kill it, just climb again, and dive on them until they die
