I mean, the 109ers can still turn well with good flap management, but that's an exception

For FW190 idk really never use them in air rb

I’ve noticed they have excellent armament and just shred planes

I just use the air targets belt

play the FW 190 series to energy advantages over players (etc speed, altitude), if you dogfight something more manoeuvrable than you you're practically going to die unless it's some smigol time manoeuvre or something

and the BF 109 similarly as well, they work the best with altitude and energy advantages over people but are also good dogfighters (in case it ever comes to that)

to add on, in terms of dogfighting, say russian aircraft, they may be a bit more maneuverable (some you may be bound t lose to in a dogfight, hence recommended BnZ) but it's all about taking dogfights into the vertical should you have to dogfight it, as others have said, Boom n Zoom, it's easier, and less risky, but 109s excell in vertical dogfights, their flaps retract slower than the old lady crossing the street, but they work well when energy trapping, and when I say vertical dogfights I don't mean straight up, a spiral upwards but not too vertical (don't always rely on this, practice reading your opponents energy states) typically how I dogfight most planes is if I'm low on energy and hes at equal alt, I enter a slight dive to pick up a bit of speed, and try to gain that energy adv, I do a head on, not fully committed shoot and roll so we merge if he doesn't die, I try to force it into a vertical rolling scissors, your a 109 you have pretty good control at low speed, use flaps accordingly, at the time of your stall use them, to hang a bit more in the air if he's stalling, so you have time to drop your nose on him, when you choose to drop your nose on him make sure to instantly start raising your flaps or else you'll probably break them off like i said they retract slowly (every situation is different adapt to it, I recommend watching other skilled pilots use the 109 types, I may have described something wrong but I suck at explaining my own moves without representationkekw
