FAQ 3: MISCELLANEOUS QUESTIONS

3.1 I encountered cheaters/hackers in the matches, where can I report them?

Should you encounter players that are cheating or otherwise gaining an unfair advantage over other players during the qualification stages through the use of unauthorized third-party software or methods that are not supported by the game developers, please report them by mailing the ESPORTS team via [e-mail] attaching a clear evidence and their in game IDs and names.

3.2 My in game name contains special characters, am I allowed to participate in the PMCO?

If you have already registered with special characters or with different team names on players. You don't need to change it until you pass qualifiers. Once you pass qualifiers you will be asked to change the name by the officials so no problem right now. After reaching the group stage you will get name change cards to adjust or replace special characters. Just make sure you use correct details while registering your character ID and name.

3.3 Where can I see the results, the times and standings from qualifications?

The starting times, results and standings can be found in the PMCO section in the Esports Center ( ^ button from home screen in game).

3.4 How does the point system work?

Your points will be calculated based on your rank and your kills you have reached in each match. The top 2 games of each map, 6 games with the highest total points from up to 21 games will be qualified.

3.5 Me and my team mates are not in the same crew. Does it affect our registration?

Yes, members from the same team needs to be in a registered in the same crew in-game BEFORE submitting your PMCO application. Find more information about this on the website: https://esports.pubgmobile.com/pmco

FAQ 4: INVITED TEAMS

4.1 Which teams are invited?

In order to strengthen the PUBG MOBILE esports field, the top 16 teams from PMCO 2021 Spring Split from each region get invited to PMCO 2021 Fall Split (excluding teams that got disqualified) without having to pass online qualification again. In addition, large and renown pro organizations with standing long-term investment plans can be invited to the group stage directly as well. More teams from other official PUBG MOBILE tournaments will be invited as well. If your team can't play in the Fall Split Group Stages with an approved roster, you will have to go through the qualifiers again.

4.2 Who gets the invitation?

The person who registered the team during PMCO 2021 Spring Split qualifiers owns the team's slot and will get the invitation for PMCO 2021 Fall Split.

4.3 When will the invitations be sent?

A week before Group Stages begins. If you do not get an invitation in that week and were expecting one, then it is not you who is the owner of the team's slot.

4.4 Can I still play in the qualifiers if I am invited?

Please, note that invited teams are not allowed to play in the qualifiers. Best of luck to all newly qualifying teams!

4.5 Do I have to play in the qualifiers if I am invited?

The teams who made it to their regional finals will be invited directly to the PMCO 2021 Fall Split Group Stage, without having to pass online qualification again. If your team can't play in the Fall Split Group Stages with an approved roster, you will have to go through the qualifiers again.

4.6 Can I transfer my invitation to someone else?

Please, make sure to ask this in your respective team channel in your regional PMCO Discord server.

This rule is not new where Southeast Asia have their own tournament system, it was there last split season and the season before too. And Southeast Asia & HTM competition system is only for VN/TH/ID/MY/MM/PH/TW, meaning those countries can team together. Just like the rule system here at least 3 players' nationalities/residents must be from the same region they registered in, the remaining players can be anyone within VN/TH/ID/MY/MM/PH/TW for them. So they can have 3 Malaysians and 2 Thai players for example.

Like having 3 Germany players and 2 UK players in the team for PMCO Germany, as long as it is from the approved applicable region info list of participating countries.

Mars Tournament can play with any of these countries ONLY: VN/TH/ID/MY/MM/PH/TW

No, his legal documents and/or legal residency has to reflect the allowed countries to register in this PMCO tournament system. Japan has their own league and own Tournament system, therefore if he is of Japanese nationality (holding a Japanese passport) and resides in Japan, you then will need to find another player that is within the accepted region info list that is on the website. And if he still wishes to play in Japanese league, he will have to find a Japanese team. In addition, from June 30th, they are stopping all support to players from Japan/Korea on the Global PUBGM version. Meaning he will have to go play his own client PUBGM version that is allocated to Japanese players.

No, no such email will be sent. When the competition starts on July 20th and if you don't get an email and don't get the match start button means there was some error with your application. Sometimes players don't get an email but get the match start button to participate on the tournament day, it happens like that because of large amount of teams applying.
