1.1 What is the PMCO?

The PUBG MOBILE CLUB OPEN 2021 showcases the best PUBG MOBILE Players and Squads among the 27 regions across the world. PMCO 2021 is regarded as the gateway to joining the world's largest mobile esports event, the PUBG MOBILE GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP, for anyone who wants to play PUBG MOBILE competitively and start their esports career. If you think you are one of the best and want to show your skills, you are welcomed to bring your squad and register to take part in this all year long battle! A great journey awaits you, join us, be the #1!

1.2 What is the prize pool in the PMCO?

The top teams will compete for a total prize pool of $ 1,642,400.

1.3 How is the tournament structured??

Stage 1 - Registration (Jan1 - Jan 24)

FAQ 2: REGISTRATION

2.1 Where can I register me and my team for the PMCO 2021 Spring Split?

The registration can be progressed from the official website: https://esports.pubgmobile.com/pmco
The registration period ends January 24th, 23:59 UTC!

2.2 What are the requirements to register me and my team?

  1. Rosters are finalized upon registration submission .
  2. Participants must have reached the age of maturity in his or her country of residence before the start of the Tournament, and must comply with any applicable age ratings from ratings authorities and mobile platform ratings systems.
  3. A player under the legal age of maturity in his or her country of residence, but older than 16 years of age (i.e. having lived for at least 16 calendar years after date of birth as of the Tournament start date) may participate with consent from parents or legal guardians.
  4. At least 3 players' nationalities must be from the same region you register in, or a lawful resident of a jurisdiction in the Region for at least six (6) months.
  5. All players must be ranked Platinum or above at the time of registration.
  6. Team Rosters must be a minimum of 4 players and no more than 5 players with one player being a substitute player.
  7. Players are only allowed to use mobile devices during the tournament (including the in-game qualification round), and players that use tablets or a PC emulator will be disqualified from the PMCO.
  8. Regional Requirement
    The applicable regions include 3 players out of 5 (4 if there is no sub). For example, if 2 players are from the UK and 3 players are from Germany, then the region of this team should be registered as PMCO Germany team. If all players of the team are from different region, or no common region for 3 players, then this team is not available to register.

If you have successfully registered on the PMCO Registration website before the deadline (24 January 2021) you will receive an email titled “PMCO 2021 Spring Split Registration”. Please be patient as the system is dealing with thousands of teams. If you did not receive an email by 31st of January 2021 then please email the website support – PUBGMOBILE_ESPORT@tencentgames.com with information regarding your Crew Name and the email that was signed up with.

2.4 My team signed up for PMCO 2021 Spring Split, but we noticed one member of the team mistyped his character ID. What to do?

Please, if you have not contacted the support yet from the PMCO Registration website, then please email PUBGMOBILE_ESPORT@tencentgames.com with the old and new Character ID identification of the player that mistyped that information, in order to state your case.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Please do not repeat questions regarding mistyped character ID in this server, as we (moderators, administrators and community staff) are unable to assist with this in any way (we also do not have power to correct mistyped character ID), hence why we ask you to email the PUBGMOBILE Esports team. Please be advised that it is up to the Officials only to allow or reject every request about mistaken registrations.

2.5 Someone else has already registered with my Character ID for the PMCO 2021 Spring Split. What to do?

2.7 I have received the email confirmation for PMCO 2021 Spring Split. What are the next instructions?

Be patient and wait until the day of the match begins on the 1st of February, those who have successfully registered will be able to enter the PMCO qualifications via the Esports Center, which can be found in the pop up menu ^ in the right bottom corner from home screen in game.

2.8 Can I register a team, which does not come from a region, listed in the registration?

Applicants from Japan, Korea regions - please do not register on this site at the moment. Registration for these regions will be announced at a later date. Please find more information on PUBG MOBILE Facebook. This also includes every game version, that is not global, except for applicants from Japan, Korea and Vietnam. 2.10 When and where Group Stage teams will be announced?

Thank you everyone for participating in Online Qualifiers. The Group Stage teams for each region will be announced on social media. No exact date/time at the moment. And Group Stage teams will receive in-game mail for further instructions. We ask for your patience and understanding.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Everything starting from this stage will be handled in the respective PMCO Discord server for your region.

2.11 I participated in the PMCO 2021 Spring Split Qualifiers. When will my team know if we pass to Group Stages? When will the confirmation email be sent? Can I change my roster (1-2 players) in Group stages?

Thank you for participating in the Qualifiers. Please be patient regarding the selection process of Group Stages teams, this will be handled in the respective PMCO Discord server for your region. Your team will be notified through email/In-Game mail for confirmation and further instructions regarding Group Stages. This is being done region by region, so there is no specific time for when the region will get it, you keep yourself updated through the official PUBG MOBILE ESPORTS channels or in the respective PMCO Discord server for your region.

2.12 Can I change my team name, logo and players?

Those who are passing from Qualifiers to Group stages can change team names, logos, even parts of their roster. This will be handled in the respective PMCO Discord server for your region.

2.13 How many PMCO 2021 Spring Split qualifying teams will move to Group Stages per region?

Everything is subjective and depends how many invited teams accepted their placement in Group stages. It can be 5, it can be 10, it can be 16 and so on. Total spots in Group stages is 32 teams only, if we get 16 invited teams then 16 from Qualifiers will join them and if we get 20 invited teams then 12 from Qualifiers will join them and so on as that's how the concept goes. Since we are dealing with 27 separate regions, we were told to mention the safe number of 10 teams are at least guaranteed to pass Qualifiers, it can be more and this again depends on invited teams. AND if there are no invited teams joining, the 32 spots will go all to the teams who passes the Qualifiers.

FAQ 3: MISCELLANEOUS QUESTIONS

3.1 I encountered cheaters/hackers in the matches, where can I report them?

Should you encounter players that are cheating or otherwise gaining an unfair advantage over other players during the qualification stages through the use of unauthorized third-party software or methods that are not supported by the game developers, please report them by mailing the ESPORTS team via PUBGMOBILE_ESPORT@tencentgames.com attaching a clear evidence and their in game IDs and names.

3.2 My in game name contains special characters, am I allowed to participate in the PMCO?

If you have already registered with special characters or with different team names on players. You don't need to change it until you pass qualifiers. Once you pass qualfiers you will be asked to change the name by the officials so no problem right now. After reaching the group stage you will get name change cards to adjust or replace special characters. Just make sure you use correct details while registering your character ID and name.

3.3 Where can I see the results, the times and standings from qualifications?

The starting times, results and standings can be found in the PMCO section in the Esports Center( ^ button from home screen in game).

3.4 How does the point system work?

Your points will be calculated based on your rank and your kills you have reached in each match. The top 2 games of each map, 6 games with the highest total points from up to 21 games will be qualified.

3.5 Me and my team mates are not in the same clan/crew. Does it affect our registration?

It is not mandatory for the team members playing in the PMCO but we recommend being in the same crew. Find more information about this on the website: https://esports.pubgmobile.com/pmco

FAQ 4: INVITED TEAMS

4.1 Which teams are invited?

In order to strengthen the PUBG MOBILE esports field, the top 16 teams from PMCO 2020 Fall Split from each region get invited to PMCO 2021 Spring Split (excluding teams that got disqualified) without having to pass online qualification again. In addition, large and renown pro organizations with standing long-term investment plans can be invited to the group stage directly as well. More teams from other official PUBG MOBILE tournaments will be invited as well. If your team can't play in the Spring Split Group Stages with an approved roster, you will have to go through the qualifiers again.

4.2 Who gets the invitation?

The person who registered the team during PMCO 2020 Fall Split qualifiers owns the team's slot and will get the invitation for PMCO 2021 Spring Split.

4.3 When will the invitations be sent?

During the last week of January. If you do not get an invitation in this week and were expecting one, then it is not you who is the owner of the team's slot.

4.4 Can I still play in the qualifiers if I am invited?

Please note that invited teams are not allowed to play in the qualifiers. Best of luck to all newly qualifying teams!

4.5 Do I have to play in the qualifiers if I am invited?

The teams who made it to their regional finals will be invited directly to the PMCO 2021 Spring Split Group Stage, without having to pass online qualification again. If your team can't play in the Spring Split Group Stages with an approved roster, you will have to go through the qualifiers again.

4.6 Can I transfer my invitation to someone else?

Please make sure to ask this in your respective team channel in your regional PMCO Discord server.

4.7 Which roster changes are permitted for invited teams?

2.2 What are the requirements to register me and my team?

  3. A player under the legal age of maturity in his or her country of residence, but older than 16 years of age (i.e. having lived for at least 16 calendar years after date of birth as of the Tournament start date) may participate with consent from parents or legal guardians.
  4. At least 3 players' nationalities must be from the same region you register in, or a lawful resident of a jurisdiction in the Region for at least six (6) months.
  5. All players must be ranked Platinum or above at the time of registration.
  6. Team Rosters must be a minimum of 4 players and no more than 5 players with one player being a substitute player.
  7. Players are only allowed to use mobile devices during the tournament (including the in-game qualification round), and players that use tablets or a PC emulator will be disqualified from the PMCO.
  8. Regional Requirement
    The applicable regions include 3 players out of 5 (4 if there is no sub). For example, if 2 players are from the UK and 3 players are from Germany, then the region of this team should be registered as PMCO Germany team. If all players of the team are from different region, or no common region for 3 players, then this team is not available to register.

I asked earlier, about the age thing. 1 of my players is currently 15 and is turning 16 the 28th 4 days after registration ends. I read FAQ 2.2, but I’m confused about 1 part it says “before the start of the tourney” would the start of the tourney be the end of registration or the beginning of the 1st game being the 1st of February.
