While this is a thoughtful suggestion for users who use voice channels to have conversations, we will not be implementing this in the server as @vast summit, the bot that is in charge of the level roles does not have the option to include voice channels into the level calculation.

We will not invite a new bot either to be in charge of this particular task as we want to streamline the leveling system to only be managed by MEE6.

Thus, we can conclude that the voice channels in the server is a courtesy and we encourage chatting in the server if you want to progress with your levels.

I'm very certain that I have explained to you about this yesterday. Since your role does not permit you to send links, the bot will automatically delete all the links (except whitelisted ones) and will mute you for 10 minutes if you continue to send a link. Another reason would also be the use of blacklisted words.

Pro tip: If a word or link gets automatically deleted, that means you cannot send it. If you notice this, then do not attempt to send it again or else you will be automatically dealt with by the bot.

Greater chance of it being shared/followed to be broadcasted on other servers then which have channels that follow multiple servers. Fair enough, yes that would be a better setup imo. It's not about UX as regards to matches as I'm sure everyone who is active within his server will find the codes just fine as is. It's more about the broadcasting of the information for other servers so that inactive users will see the info easily too. Right now, too much is being broadcast basically and if it was pared down to just codes or minimal information like codes and winner I'm sure there would be an uptake in other servers sharing this channel within their own communities. Consider it anyway as you see fit. Looking forward to participating in the matches myself in future, and would love to be able to broadcast the details. With so many servers it's hard to keep track of events on them all so the broadcast feature is really great when it's used well.
