Make sure that you do not have anything taking the internet in the background or try to pause the resources being downloaded. The only reason I can think of is that you may have been got out of top 500 rankings after the rankings were reset. Please try again after 00:20 UTC and make sure that you are among top 500 players in your server. If the issue still persists, contact the customer service again and explain your issue in a detailed manner and attach a video recording as well.
