you can try the following, other than that there is nothing more you can do bruh
- turn off the background app refresh option.
- ensure that you have enough storage available on your device.
- Click on that 'reduce motion' > it will cost you less GPU usage generally.
- Ensure that no app is in the background while you are playing the game.
- Perform a routine repair of the game.
- Ensure that you are having stable internet or at least the one who is driving the car is having it.
At this point IF it's still happening, unfortunately, there is nothing more you can do from your end.

It’s your responsibility to know the teammates you play with. If you realise they are cheating mid game. Or suspicious of their activity. Report and exit the game the moment you realise they are cheating.

There are penalties, but it's different from the other cheating behaviors because it cannot be auto-detected by the anti-cheating system and needs a manual review which takes more time and effort.

The ping in Room matches are influenced by multiple reasons. Some thing as simple as the room creators region not being same as yours would influence the ping too.
