Also, usually desync issues and shots not registering issues are due to network packet loss issues and at times client sided issues. Client sided issues are fixed via using Repair client option and packet loss issues can be fixed by switching to a better network or configuring your current network settings.

Your point decreases or increases depending on your overall performances and Ratings, for example if you re good at survival, your point will slightly decrease when you die a bit earlier than usual, but when you re not good at survival and you die early, the rating will greatly decreases and so on, it's the same principles with all other stats, Kills, Top10% ect.
And the opposite is true, when you re usually don't get much kills, but in a game you get a lot of kills, your points will greatly increase.
This is ranking system balance, if you want more (+rank points) than (-rank points) everyone is getting to conqueror without even trying, this is meant to be like this to push players to be competitive, it's known in all ranking games.
