I am not sure about it but I think they can just ban their game accounts because there are many social media options and they will need to contact those social media's to prevent them from logging in to the game. So overall I guess , if you try to login from that social media then you can login but you will just see that "your account has been banned for ..... period".

I switched from android to iPhone, before switching I had both my google play account and facebook linked to my PUBGM account, now I don’t have the option to link Game Center with my existing PUBGM account. I’m stuck with only facebook, which I don’t want because i don’t want fb friends in the game. @night cloak

@high rivet Just revoke the complete access of facebook, and use a different login method. And the support replies when it comes to account safety and privacy, never saw that support didn't help when it is about revoking access.

Unlink encourages people to sell/trade their accounts which violates ToS of both social media platform and the game. It is very unlikely gonna happen.
