And that’s what is killing it

Although, it presents a different form of abuse being possible. Multiple people buying up 500 shares, raising the stock to 1.6x. So a couple of people can still profit even with 30% tax
There's another, easier to implement change that will easily prevent abuse by single individuals. Just change the 0.5 to 0.4 or 0.3 in the formula
At 0.4, 500 shares will raise the price by 10%, 4 people buying will change it by 46.41%. At 0.3, 500 shares will raise it by 7.5%, 4 people buying will raise it by 33.5469%

As it currently is, this is actually a way to forcibly reduce another person's stock price downward
12.5% down from the post-buy price is greater than the 12.5% increase from the act of buying, so eventually you can bring another user's stock back down to 10/share, if they don't chat long enough. That is even if stock price didn't naturally go down if you don't chat
