#Console stick drift

Look up how to clean your sticks with compressed air and a small cotton swab with isopropyl alcohol. And then try resetting and re-pairing the controller to the console.
I don’t think Cotw has a dead zones setting so if the above doesn’t work you probably just have to repair your controller unfortunately.
There are deadzone settings. I don't have issues with controllers on this game, so maybe it's an issue with your sensitivity, deadzone or the controller itself.
Either it’s your controller, or it’s the game. I’ve never experienced this myself on ps4 outside of having actual stick drift, though, personally.
The options you’ve received here are good advice in regards to checking for a problem/managing it before you may have to repair it.
Question: what kind of stick drift are you referring to? Do you mean your reticle just slightly sways/has more “bouncy” movement instead of snappy lines? Or do you mean your movements are randomly drifting/flicking in directions you aren’t pushing them in?
If you use a smal needle or something and flip your controller over, you can reset the controller by putting the needle in the little hole in the controller. Search it up its ehat fixed my stick drift
Apriciate this. After setting the dead zone I'm noticing how it's affecting my aiming will do!
Yeah, affected me bad when you finally line up a shot and your controlelr is like noope makes you fore 40 metres away
