I can relate to that. Took me over 5000k kills across 3 maps to get a goldeneye diamond. I ended up with 3 hybrids, an eclipse, a lucistic and 4 or 5 dark females all before my diamond. Definitely the most brutal situation I've encountered in game

The blue is the area in which Masi got his dime. The smaller dots within the circle are the 4 feed zones he provided locations for. That's why I include the other maps so you can see where they were marked as well.

We have Haggis #36 located. I will be adding it to the maps later tonight, but it will probably be a while because I have been slacking on updating the Angler Top 5 sheets on Pro's and probably have at least 3-4 hours of that to catch up on.

I figured it was self explanatory with the accompanying map pictures but this is like the 15th time I've been asked. It's not even that it's showing that it was a diamond really. It was more to show Masi's area and needed to be a different color than the red circles. He included 4 feeding locations on his map within that blue circle and they're the tiny circles within that blue area.

Guess I'll have to add a map key on the next update to avoid this question.

It's feed time is not only 12:00-14:00, it feeds every 2 hours all day and night, and does not rest nor drink. The reason it's not giving new feed zones in the new areas is because he must have initally spooked it, so when it stops to feed in the next area it's still as if it was feeding at the initial area(it has been proven by Mel and Masi that it can have multiple feed zones marked on the map). There can be only 1 Haggis on a map at a time, but Ben(Dev)has all but confirmed that they can respawn and you can get another after the first.

My personal (unconfirmed, obviously) thought is that the haggis will respawn, but that you’ll only ever have 1 on the map at any given time. Why would they have a score if you couldn’t possibly get more of them? Imagine getting a bronze haggis initial spawn and that being the only one you ever can get. I don’t think they’d do that.

This mechanic feels like a grind for non-grinders, and honestly, that would be pretty cool.

It ain't fun...but I start in the farthest corner of the map and use markers around 300m at a time and zig zag back and forth across that section, then repeat 1000 times.

If you want to make it really thorough to make sure you don miss an inch you can mark it off on a map.

We've figured them out 99%. Literally everything other than the spawn mechanic which they'll never tell us. I just want to know if it's on my map. That's all. That or if it despawns...and has to be retriggered which is a HORRIBLE mechanic if so and they should patch it if it does. With is hard as it is to find already that would suck. I'm really starting to think it does with as much as I've searched, and have probably 1000 feed/rest zones on the top of the map with none being Haggis.

So I wasn't kidding lol. Keep in mind, almost all of these were found on foot while searching Haggis, and for a Dime woodock. Only a few with Keen Eye. Most of them have 3-5 animals on a zone and a bunch of those animals have multiple times on those zones lol.

we tested like every theory possible at this point, theres nothing left to test, theres nothing left that correlates, there is nothing left to pull from the clues

or at least we need a dev to tell us if it stays on our map once it’s spawned in, if it despawns, and you have to do the trigger again, and find it somehow, that is a really really horrible mechanic.

I think theres something insanely simple that has a chance to spawn it in, hence why only very few people got it doing literally nothing, but still, there is something we are missing. i need more clues from devs at this point, its been like two weeks, and the only “hint” we got was christmas day, when ben said he thinks its probably on funkys map, that means it’d be on mine too, but nope, nothing.

I think to prevent mawders or cheeky people from getting their hands on it immediately there is a mechanic in place regarding its presence on the map and how the game resisters it .. I think it isn’t an initial spawn that’s for sure

If that's a thing...the devs have gotta change that. I know it's supposed to be hard to find, but that makes it impossible without 3 horsehoes up your butt, a leprechaun in your pocket, and an entire field of 4 leaf clover that we look for it in.

That's kinda wild though...everyone in the game should have an equal chance to get one,even if it's just rare af. With time and dedication. Kind of a bad way to do things if some people are ruled out based purely on luck. Of course this is all speculation, but it's certainly looking that way.

Exactly. That's why I've kinda been adamant on the spawn trigger being something simple. Because by normal logic and how the Devs should present this to the game is that something simple spawns it in...it's super elusive, 1 single animal on a huge map. You just gotta search your butt off.

Imho, the only benefit is inital spawns. Everything else is a downside. If you want initial spawns, go steal them from noobs on MP maps like everyone else lol.

well also too a lot of people get bored once level 60 bc they dont know how to grind or anything so the game can get quite stale after u search every map.

even going to MPs can be stale af i can see how new game turns things back to fun, but for me, it would be like throwing 1000 hours of my life into a drain

I've spent well over 5 years crafting my single player maps into amazing reserves. I don't just do HM on grinds. I HM every single animal as I roam my map even. All species. If I lost that, I'd quit the game forever.

I recently gave someone a suggestion and it worked great for them on Xbox. It's worked well for everyone I know including me who constantly was desyncing trying to play with friends. Go set your DNS to cloudflare, or google DNS. I know it sounds silly and like it's nothing but it makes a huge difference. Not just on Hunter MP servers, but on every game and streaming app.

I'd say they're about even. Snow Leopard has more furs giving it a better chance, but only 10 animals on the map period. Bobwhite have a lot more animals, but rarely make dime and have only 1 rare plumage.
