you could've gotten it as a reward but you might've not if you bought it before the mission

6-8 harvests, and it's worth it. It's actually working blasting birds in one shot, even at distance, unlike the nerfed and broken 10ga. It's even knocking birds down way better than the 12ga Cacciiatore. I like it. Pair it with the shotgun scope and it's really good.

I don't think I want to use it. It's way better than the Cacciatore on all stats, but only has 3 rounds. Way faster reload though. I dunno.

Well on this map most bird flocks are 2-3 at most, and 2nd shots on most birds aren't needed since it's actually working. The cacciatore with more capacity is better for ducks, like on swalz, when 7-10 of them are buzzing around or swimming or landing. You need the extra rounds then, not so much here in Scotland.

Fair enough. I've gotten pretty good at hitting them anyway first shot. My mela red grouse that I didn't even realize was a mela, I missed first 6 shots, then saw it land and decided to follow it for some reason, took another 6 shots and hit it on the 12th lol. Was so shocked when I harvested it and it was mela.

Believe it or not, for the longest time I used the 22lr(ar) for flying birds. I'm a crackshot with it lol.

That's how it goes for me a lot. I get rares and dimes just by hunting, not looking for them. Got the erythristic red badger right after I got my haggis last week and didn't even realize it. Fortunately I saved it because it was a different color and it was still available in my saves once I figured it was a rare it got taxed. 🤣

Pro-tip...you wanna get good with shotguns. Hunt 180 female Woodcock after realizing females make dime and not males, after shooting 50+ males. They're small and you get good fast lol. Still no dime woodcock. 🤦‍♂️

yeah cuoso is nice, doesnt kill instantly sometimes but little drop (you can aim at something 75m away and only have to move ahead to compensate for animals movement if its moving instead of having to compensate for drop)

I just actually completed the side mission "Eat your hat". It's all about making a haggish dish. The dialogue is all about "you've got all you need to catch a haggis"...."Don't worry you'll get one next time".
