Since when are we hunting eagles?

There are red deer, muntjac deer, the Japanese sika deer and on the western edge of Ireland the Manchirian sika deer, various goats that can be hunted and birds like the woodcock. There are enough to not mention the eagle.

I also chose a vulture so I understand. But people prefer some that are really huntable and given the number of animals in a country there are enough to avoid taking them. But yes historically we have never really hunted eagles except just because of superstition

Im a paddy meself. I dont believe we have established populations of wild sheep aside from the odd few that escape from farms. Wolves arent here either. Feral goats are a popular hunt here tho.

Would be cool to see my country represented but Im not sure if the hunting opportunities available would stand out from other Euro maps
