Idk, some construction workers were at the creek and they said that they had seen a platypus. My creek is the perfect habitat for them, it’s quite deep in some areas and some are shallow. Theres plenty of space for them to burrow on the banks. But I haven’t seen one, all we know is that a worker claimed to see one.

I took a photo of what might of once belonged to a platypus, it was a burrow at the bank of the creek. Everything matched up to what they represented, but I can’t find the photo 😭

Here’s 2 I found with my dad the other week, there was a full burrow system. So there was more than just these 2 burrows but some had been filled in by leaves and were no longer active, so these 2 are the active ones at the moment.

Here’s another wombat burrow, as you can see the dirt gets shovelled out quite frequently. Almost every day it’s different, it goes very deep into thick, thorny bushes. Where I cannot access, so this Wombat has the perfect home, the other side is a creek, so he’s got water recourses. He’s protected by very thorny, spiky bushes. He’s got a whole line of grass when he leaves the burrow.
