Welcome to eswatini! This country is often overlooked by international hunters, but it posseses a wide range of big and small game, the big 5 can be hunted here but it is no challenge for the weak. I added classes and changed up some species with the species list

Maybe instead of Caracal, have Chacma Baboon - they're the most exported trophy from South Africa and definitely live in Eswatini too

Sounds good to me hahahaha - save Cheetah for Namibia (where they are hunted irl)

Totally agreed with you there hahaha

Oribis may be found in open scrupland, they do not thrive in open savannahs or forests. They rely on short grasses for food and get up to 20 KGS big.

I am not sure if the smaller antelopes shall have drink zones

#

The Impala is a small class 4 species you can find it in woodlands both solo males and small groups are common

Can you hunt in eswatini irl?

Just less popular than other African countries

foggy obsidian
# somber trench Ehhh, zebra often rival elk size wise and sable have tons of muscle mass.

Zebra aren't that big though, like they're heavy things but they're kinda small. The otherday I went for a walk in my local reserve and walked past a heard of Zebra (I think they're mostly female though) and they probably took me at the belly button. (I'm 6'1) I know a .30-06 would drop them within a couple seconds aswell. Sable are maybe a little tougher than kudu but not by that much really

Either way though, I don't mind if they're class 7 or 8 because that would let me shoot them with the .375, as it should be

The mountain reedbuck would be one of the hardest species to hunt, they would be found in high elevation grasslands, higher numbers may be found in areas with some trees or brushes as cover. They have a similar size to roe deer thus placing them in class 3. They don't drink and have relatively small numbers, this is a true trophy of the mountains

Common eland, you do not realize how gigantic these things are until you see one, the first time I stood next to a taxidermied specimen at the Berlin Museum of Natural History it really blew my mind how big it was. They can be found all over the map, and may be observed drinking at waterholes and other sources of water they can weigh nearly a metric ton and are thus a class 9 species. they are the second largest antelope species only Beeing toped by the giant eland

I think there are some changes needed here (assuming current weapons in game retain their classes)

Common Eland - 9 (its not recommended to shoot an eland with something like a .30-06, many consider .375 the minimum caliber but .338 would also work)

Plains Zebra - 5/6 (Plains zebra are heavy animals, but smaller than a horse by a lot and also not that tough really)

African Leopard - 7 (African leopard aren't large but a wounded african leopard is a real s.o.b so it should receive the same treatment as lion do, getting a higher weaponclass then what is really needed)

Southern Impala - 4 (Impala are most commonly hunted with rifles like .308, .30-06 and .375, although they aren't that heavy, they should still be a class 4 animal, similarly to sika deer)

Also Greater Kudu and Sable should either be the same or switched, a kudu isn't a exceptionally tough animal, its actually slightly less hardy than a sable is.
