South of Oregon and north of Oregon are completely different landscapes, we already have a billion red deer, fallow, roe, red fox maps. Some repeat areas are fine, I'm probably bias because I live on Oregon, but this isn't really close to Layton in terms of landscapes and a lot of species.

I would totally love to have the animals on Layton, but a new pnw map would be even better. Wouldn't you rather have another European map with red deer and roe deer? I don't think this map has any chance of being made at all.

Nah he’s kinda got a point. Layton is based off of Washington and Northern Oregon. Many of these species could just be added to Layton.

Spain and Germany have TOTALLY different fauna.

Spain is a Mediterranean country with a much drier and more arid climate, with many unique subspecies and species of animals that are unique to that environment.

Germany is a temperate/boreal climate with lots of precipitation, and many of the subspecies there are built for cold weather.

Layton is based off of eastern Oregon which is more open and dry, i know this because of the tree's on the map are only in the far eastern parts of Oregon, the high cascades are a wet thicker forest with and are way higher altitudes and a complete DIFFERENT climate.

Tall evergreen tree's and steep slopes, long range hunting and small lakes scattered in the mountains

according to the people of the cotw discord, if layton is the ONLY PNW map aloud to be in the game im going to be very disappointed because layton is nothing like anywhere ive been/hunted in oregon/Washington

Layton Lake is Washington and maybe Oregon. at least from what I heard

Layton is based off Washington. I’m from Idaho and I’ve been all over Oregon, and there’s no point to having a map set in Oregon when we already have Washington.

Europe actually has maps that are all unique and different from one another. Oregon and Washington have the exact same species and practically the exact same environments.
