You start to the top left of the map in the tundra.
To the top left, there is dry grassland, at the top and bottom right, there is shrubby vegetation, at the bottom, there is boreal forest, to the right, there is tundra. Finally, there is a swathe of tundra marshland running through it all.

Tundra marshland will contain many waterfowl such as the new northern shoveller.
Shrubby vegetation will be the place to find upland game birds such as Grey Partridge and Ruffed Grouse.
Tundra will be home to hardy animals like Muskox.
Finally, the Boreal Forest region conceals small game, such as Snowshoe Hares and Sharp-Tailed Grouse as well as larger game such as the Canadian Lynx, Whitetail Deer, and Moose.

Polar Bear would be a better inclusion then White-tailed Deer

# woeful ermine Then that’s the map we should get instead

More people want polar bears then Sitka deer though, so its likely the first Canadian reserve will be set in the Arctic, the reason I say Sitka deer wouldn't fit an Arctic Reserve is due to habitat preference as they prefer the coastal rainforest of Southeastern Alaska and Northwestern British Columbia and not the open tundra that is present in most of Alaska and Canada

@steady terrace Yeah, could have that instead of the grizzly bear.
This reserve would probably be a good basis for a small-game map.

#

I don't imagine grizzlies would live in the same area as Polar Bears.

Final mission idea:
9 LEGENDARY bull Muskox has been wounded in a fight with a younger bull. He is suffering and needs to be put out of his misery. He will go aggressive upon spotting the player.
