You may think why would you do Florida for a game ranch map most of them are in Texas? While you would be right I hope you can see my point with putting it in Florida. This will be a game ranch with partial free range and partial high fence. The driving force of putting it in Florida would be to have the Osceola turkey and complete the NA grand slam. Now onto the map it will include a more dry and flatland high fence and more swampy and brushy low fence for small game and natives.

Species

Low Fence

Whitetail deer class 4
Wild Hog class 4
Raccoon moved to class 1
Marsh rabbit class 1
Burmese Python class tbd
Iguana class 1
American Alligator class 7
Osceola Turkey class 1
Wood duck class 1
Mallard class 1
Pintail class 1
Gadwall class 1
Green winged teal class 1
Blue winged teal class 1
Canada goose class 1

High Fence

Nilgai moved to class 7
Zebra class 7
Gemsbok back to class 7
Blackbuck class 3
Axis deer class 3
Fallow deer class 4
Pere davids deer class 6
Barasinga class 4
Waterbuck class 6

New Rifle 7mm-08

I think this is a good opportunity to add a popular southern hunting caliber that esker and many others use.

Another possible option would be a 12 gauge semi auto shotgun along the lines of the super black eagle 3 irl

Great One: Barasinga

I think this is the one that sticks out the most and would give sundarpatan a grindable great one for the more casual players

I noticed a disturbing lack of Alligators on this Florida themed hunting area

Now I will say I prefer to see the animals from Sub-Sahara Africa (Gemsbok, Waterbuck and Zebra) to be used for any future reserve (But if we don't get a Namibian Reserve I am fine with Gemsbok being a Vurhonga exclusive), but in saying that I am proposing several species as replacements, but it will be up to you weather you use them as replacements or add them to the list with all the other exotics, regardless this could shape up to be another interesting Florida Reserve concept

Nile Lechwe: While it is found in Sub-Saharan Africa, I don't really think it will come to the game unless it is set on a High-Fence US based Reserve, and seeing as how this reserve is a High-Fence US based reserve, I think it would be a fine replacement for the waterbuck, though it is smaller as a class 4 species, but the colours on the males make it a very distinctive antelope

Hybrid Sheep: If there is one animal I associate with Game Ranches in North America, its the Hybrid Sheep with a massive number of varieties, and these are generally hybrids between domestic sheep breeds and European mouflon. All of the different types of hybrid sheep could be made into fur types with more common breeds like Corsican, Black Hawaiian and Texas Dall being the most common fur types.

River Buffalo (Water Buffalo variant): Whenever I see images of Water Buffalo hunted in the United States (and South America), they always seem to have the short horns that are featured on one of the two Water Buffalo subtypes: The River Buffalo. The water buffalo that have large sweeping horns are the Swamp Buffalo subtype.

Hello Luke!

Thank you for your detailed suggestion about the Florida Game Ranch and waterfowl map. The inclusion of unique species like the Osceola turkey and your proposed species list is intriguing! We’re always excited to hear new ideas for maps and features.

Feel free to share your thoughts with us through our support portal at https://support.thehunter.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

We already have a deep south map though and also I feel the species in other countries should stay in other countries because there's no point in having another European map that's in Europe, because America has a ranch with all of the European species. IMO this would defeat the fun of having maps in different areas of the world

Your good but thanks for the suggestion because they should definitely be a part of a Florida map

Just backfill the waterfowl to MS acres and maybe in the future the high fence animals will get their own native reserve

Not to mention the selection chosen is… minimalistic at best compared to what is famous in Florida and what is commonly hunted.

From American black duck, Black-bellied whistling duck, Fulvous whistling duck, Northern shoveler, Bufflehead, and Hooded merganser! And that’s not even breaking the surface!

I do think it's funny that lowkey we have to have a Florida map because of Osceola Turkey, whether fully realized reserve or more of a mini-map like Salz

Being a Florida hunter and someone planning a North American turkey slam. I would love to see Osceola turkey in the game along with wood duck. Two things on here that I can’t see coming to the map are pintails and iguana. Pintails come in but not very often(maybe replace with a blue wing teal) and iguanas because those are kind of a specialized setting. If we get a high fence portion it would be cool to have non typical racks for deer species added into the game as well
