I love having both Whitetail and Blacktail on Layton. I do agree we need another Blacktail map severely. Come on British Columbia with Rosie's and Blacktail.

Early in the games lifespan having both species was great but now with so many whitetail only maps ... Wold be nice to have at least one map dedicated to blacktails ...
I would love to see another map with blacktail like BC but this also would be a quick way for the devs to increase Blacktail accessibility without have to create another map.

The issue is we need more than Blacktail more accessible and need the missing species in the area added. Making another map in the area makes the most sense.

Well this doesn't discount the need for additional species or backfills on Layton .... That's an issue outside the scope of this suggestion ....
I'm just looking for a quick and convenient way for the devs to increase more blacktail presence in the game ... Also without disrupting any grinds which players may already have setup on Layton ...
Now if they want to go further and spend more time and effort by decreasing deer pops as a whole so that they can do some back-filling then I certainly wouldn't complain about that either 😋

I think the whitetail population could be lowered so there's more blacktail, but I dont think we need to remove them

I'd just rebalance the population so that Blacktail won't be left behind as much as now 🤷♂️

the map is not very well done because at the bottom left are the white-tailed deer (at least personally I saw that) and at the top right there are also black-tailed deer like in the center (I haven't yet seen a white-tailed deer near the very large lakes, in fact that's where I had my first diamond and my first piebald in the same day. Otherwise it's fine

whitetail are all over the blacktail spots on that map and blacktail are in the whitetail spots too not accurate at all

I think you got confused here, this is not a map of the home ranges right now in game, this is my concept of how I would redistribute them
