#Backfilling Update

I would change the wood pigeon for capercallie or Black grouse beides that its a perfect backfill list for hirsch
I would change the Western Moose for the Shiras Moose. The Shiras Moose is the subspecies found living in Washington and Oregon. I also disagree with the Roosevelts Elk on Yukon, especially when Black Bear and Ptarmigan are present across the vast majority of Alaska and with regards to Parque: The South American Grey Fox is an entirely different species from the ones found in North America
Emerald coast:
Feral cat (2)
Dingo (2/3)
Donkey (6)
Camel (8)
Scrub bull (9)
Water buffalo (9)
I think Rancho needs Black bears and bison as well
Did you know that there are Himalayan Thar in Argentina? Are you interested in what they add to Parque Fernando?
I have not found any evidence of hunting the Himalayan tahr in Argentine Patagonia.
Yes, I too saw how they were found in South Africa and Argentina
Funny because their is a Youtube Video where a Tahr is hunted in the La Pampa Province (They also hunt Capybara and Javelina in the video) so to save you some time here is the link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfaLMky7bSw&t=793s
I would say that it is not the same species of tahr
They confirm those are Himalayan Tahr, they just lack the hair due to the local climate
It could be then but even so in the map of Argentina in the game there is no biome or such areas where the tahrs can live.
The acclimatization problem is common in introduced animals. It seems less fur on the tahrs.
I do recall in the video that the time of year also played a part in the lack of fur as the Tahr were in their summer coats apparently
Black Bear for Yukon!
Plus Coyote on every NA Reserve Yukon, SRP, Mississippi
And Mountain Lion and Gray Wolf for Layton Lakes
You have to understand the old generation consoles can do so much. As Jaxy has said many of times. If you added something, they have to take away from the other animals on the map. So every map is maximum for animals, and I sure instead of back filled they would probably just add your animals to a new map, or just do a 2.0 and leave old generation consoles off.
@kindred wing To be honest, I see a clear possibility that they will make these changes and that by making a good balance in the number of animals of each species, it can be achieved.
Furthermore, even with this backfilling, for example, no map would surpass Revontuli in animals.
- Hirschfelden Hunting Reserve -> 11
- Layton Lake District -> 11
- Medved Taiga National Park -> 10
- Vurhonga Savanna -> 10
- Parque Fernando -> 10
- Yukon Valley Natural Reserve -> 11
- Cuatro Colinas Reserve -> 13
- Silver Ridge Peaks -> 11
- Te Awaroa National Park -> 11
- Rancho del Arroyo -> 10
- Mississippi Acres Reserve -> 11
- Revontuli Coast -> **19 **
- New England Mountains -> 15
- Emerald Coast, Australia -> 15
- Sundarpatan Hunting Reserve -> 14
This would be the number of species on each map if, for example, this backfilling were done, so I still think it will be possible to do backfilling of this size or similar.
@kindred wing Do you still think that backfilling of this size is not possible?
Revontuli majority is small animals, which means less data and scripts of the animals. It's all on what the old generation consoles can handle. Do you think they aren't adding because they they want to?? They try to do as much as possible on what the community wants. So if there was a way, they would do it but there's so much they can add.
The amount of scripts is the same, it is true that there is less data but it is something insignificant and as for your answer, they do not do it because you do not want them to because they can do it and you also have to be aware that sooner or later they will have to remove the game from the old generation whether the community likes it or not, the game does not have to stagnate because of a generation of consoles.
OK
Mate!!!
U got it figured out. Just keep asking and we'll see how it turns out.
Also, my concept of padding is that 1 or 2 species are large animals and the rest are small animals like small mammals or birds, and according to you, small animals take up less memory, right? In short, my concept of padding is totally possible to implement in the game.
Backfilling Update
Cool idea
oh you added capercallie again to the list 😁
