Multiple reports of players saying their game is not saving. This has been tested on multiple maps. It was discovered because tents that were moved and outposts that had been opened, are back to the last save before the update.
Please fix this quickly
Some players are saying that if they exit to the Menu before exiting the game, the game saves. However if they exit the game from the map, no save

Update, players are saying if they are playing the game, go back to the Menu and then go back into the map, everything shows as saved. However once the game is shut down and re-opened the game doesn’t show anything saved and reverts back to pre-update save. Currently trying to find a way the game will save after shutting down the game.

Issue SOLVED! Somehow a setting in Windows Security limiting Controlled Folder Access was causing my save file to not save. Once I turned that off, everything saves fine. Just a coincidence that it happened on the day of an update! But so happy that I'm able to save again!!! EW's support team is AMAZING!!! Special thanks to Jaxy & Mig!!! ❤️ 🙂

So glad to hear you got it sorted! I've heard a few others saying they were having issues with saves too. Wonder if it's the same cause?

In case anyone else is having this issue and finds there way here...
There is a windows setting that can cause some issues if it is enabled. Follow this path and make sure it is not turned on.
Follow this path:
Windows Security > Virus & threat Protection Settings > Controlled Folder Access
Alternately if you wish to have this turned on If it's on you will need to grant access to: theHunterCotW_F.exe write access to Documents.
