Yeah but you're also hunting an elephant, as for elephants and other endangered animals in game I take the stance of "it's a game and as long as everyone recognizes it's just a game it's all good" plus some of the proceeds could go to conservation efforts for the species featured in the dlc

They have been changing their stance on African Elephants lately, and lets remember that years ago they wouldn't add things like AR platform rifles and yet we have 4 different ones, plus limited sport hunting for elephants is allowed in 8 countries and hippo hunting is allowed in just as many countries.

You don’t have to replace elephants. There is absolutely a chance that they could come to the game. Jaxy has said in the EW streams many times that elephants are a possibility if there’s enough community push & if the engine can even handle it.

Because they could come to the game. EW has become increasingly more open to more “controversial” topics like AR hunting or elephants, and it’s something that could come.
