Me personally i cant tell the difference but it would be neat to get a graphical upgrade in some way, especially with stuff in the distance

The Dx of the game does not support FSR 2.0 or DLSS

currently no console except Nintendo supports DLSS ... this may be why they don't add it ...

All other consoles (including PS4 and XB1) support FSR. Also, just because it has console ports, doesn't mean they wouldn't be able to add DLSS to the PC version.
There's nothing wrong with PC-exclusive traits, such as 120fps+ on PC.

# inner pilot The Switch does not support DLSS. Games on Switch have FSR 1.0 or 2.0

Just for the record I'm a PC player with NVIDA GPU so haveing DLSS support would be fine by me. Of course non support of DLSS on consoles doesn't mean they can't support for PC only but they have been reluctant to do things like that in the past . Also due to differences in hardware they cant do anything about PC's having an fps increase. That just comes with the platform . Some consoles get better fps than others as well ....

Elden ring is limited to 60fps unless you add an unlocked fps mod on PC, for example.

  1. FSR can improve stability, the game already has it even on PS4/XB1. (FSR 1.0)
  2. Newer consoles like the PS5/Series X would benefit from FSR 2.0 because of enhanced visuals and the ability to hit 120fps, which is a standard out on many console games now, like Spiderman.
  3. People like me who play at 4K on PC would benefit because we could get more stable, consistent framerates without compromising visuals.
#

Yes, that's why FSR 2.0 would be handy. The upscaling tech makes it look 95% as good as the native resolution while being able to keep higher graphics settings. Do you actually know how it works?

#

Upscaling tech runs the game at 50%-75% of the resolution of the screen, reconstructs it, and makes it look nearly as good. So if you were running on a 4K screen, the game could be between 1080p and 1440p internally, look almost as good, but have almost double the FPS. Spiderman and other games do this.

That's expected, but the end result would be good, and worth it imo. FSR 1.0 looks unbearably bad.

As AMD as open-sourced FSR 3.0, I think it's now a lot more feasible to add.

Might be worth it to send them an email tbh.

agree with FSR upgrade, available for everyone. DLSS would be nice too even though my card isn't compatible

do they ever give feedback on how many votes something needs to get implemented? it's great they listen to their players but seems we have no idea if/what they'll implement

66 upvotes "enough"?

idk once i submitted a request through their website to disable scent eliminator after going to sleep, so it'd be taken off when you wake up. not sure when but i noticed they added that and its pretty obscure so i was prob the only one suggesting it lol. think they look at how much man power it'd take too. DLSS/FSR 2.0 seems very reasonable

FSR3 should be easier at least
