Am I the only one not getting any need zones in this area on Vurhonga, north of the Mbali's Place outpost?
It seems a shame to have an outpost that is effectively useless after you complete the missions.
It has some very good drinking spots and fantastic hunting grounds. Such a shame to waste it.
Perfect for kudu, warthog, springbok, hares, jackals. 🐇 🦊
Nile crocodiles? 👀

I wish they would add dik dik and put them on the mountains

I especially like this because its an entire plot point in Vurhongas main mission line too, that rabbits and mainly jackals populate that area
When Vurhonga 1st released, there were a lot of hares and jackals in that area, but now there is absolutely nothing, not even teal.
I have hare, jackal, and springbok in that area to the right of the trail. Just nothing along the coast.
Good to know. Maybe I can herd some there by pinking out the surrounding zones.
I just had a walk around there at different times of day. There is not a single need zone or track to be found. It is completely dead, as it has been since they reorganized the home ranges more than a year ago. The hares, jackals, and springbokken are to the east of the red line on the OP's map, not in the circled area.
Mine are from the flag icon to the right and yes inside the red area

Hello,
Thank you for your feedback. We will take your input into consideration and review if the current animal population in this area requires improvement.
If you believe anything else needs tweaking, please feel free to continue sharing your thoughts on our Discord.
Personally I think that Klipspringer or nyala would work over there the best
Any of the tiny 10 would be awesome!
If the river bank areas on Vurhonga were changed up enough Nile Crocodiles could work, and then the Nyala and Blue Duiker could stick to the densely forested bits while Klipspringer, Francolin and Rock Hyrax live up on the big mountain of Vurhonga
Vurhongas shore dips almost immediately, unlike Mississippi and EC,I don’t think It’s possible without making some fairly big terrain changes.
yeah the riverbanks would need serious changes to support crocodiles for sure
It’s also super brushy near the shores, unlike Mississippi and EC.The main environment and preferred living space of Nile crocodiles is murky,Relatively shallow water as well to hunt easier.

For Vurhonga, I would place crocodiles at any of the central plain and north lakes. Anywhere that resembles a water hole similar to the ones in Pilanesburg and Kruger Park where they sunbathe on the banks all day. I've seen them on the grassy banks in the Okavango Delta and Chobe River but Vurhonga doesn't really have those biomes, imo.

From the Vurhonga trailer weren’t Cape buffalo supposed to be in the mountain area?
I've never seen the trailer. I'd quite happily see them populate only the South half of the map and then the north side replaced with Nile crocodiles.

I like that idea
I also don't have any animals in that area...fbm
Perfect for crocs
