Besides the main three maps of Australia, Arctic and an Africa 2.0 map one area that we can consider is a UK map. This would be a deer hunters paradise. With 8 deer species along with no big predators and a plethora of small game species this would truly be a hunting paradise.

Deer species

(Class 6) Red deer and Pere David's deer

(Class 4) Fallow deer and sika deer

(Class 3) Roe deer and Hog deer

(Class 2) Chinese water deer and Muntjac.

Small game

(Class 1 upland game birds)

  1. Pheasant, 2. Red Grouse, 3. Black grouse, 4. Red and Gray legged partridge, 5 Common Snipe, 6. Woodcock.

(Class 1 ducks)

  1. Gadwalls, 2. Goldeneye, 3. Shoveler, 4.
    Pochard, 5. Pintails.

(Class 1 geese)

  1. Canada geese, 2. Pink Footed geese, 3. European White Fronted geese, 4. Greylag geese.

(Class 1 small game)

European rabbits

(Class 2 small game)

Red fox

(Class 1 pest birds)

  1. Jackdaws, 2. Wood pigeons, 3. Carrion Crows, 4. Magpies, 5. Rooks.

Weapons that come with the map.

Holland & Holland O/U 20ga shotgun.

Holland & Holland rook rifle

Holland & Holland Bolt action rifle. Caliber to be determined.

Lastly a BSA R12 CLX Air rifle.

I would bump the Pere David’s Deer to class 6, the stags can get to 400 pounds, which is similar to a Diamond Mulie, otherwise its a pretty good species lineup

Also what caliber should the bolt action rifle be. I am thinking of a 2-6 class rifle caliber.

The hedge rows we get here that mark field boundaries would add an interesting change to sight perception for animals in game.

To incorporate all of said species, might I suggest that the fictional location be located in East Anglia (Suffolk/Norfolk)

odd nebula
#

Okay. Location wise whatever you say. I don't know the land at all.

Far right hand side of the island.

odd nebula

Okay that's a lot of red deer in Scotland.

timber peak
#

Yup, but you don’t get Chinese water deer up there

I have ideas about what caliber the bolt action rifle should be but what's your ideas of the caliber? Thinking of a 2-6 class weapon since the UK does not use bigger game rounds as much.

@timber peak what other calibers would you like to see? Also what are some popular hunting calibers in the UK. Lastly what caliber is the Rook rifle?

I’ve been thinking scotland for a while now 😎 good suggestion 💯 would be cool to see, with all the lakes etc would make a perfect map similar to SRP but with slightly smaller peaks

Ahh yeh fair play, I’m not too familiar with Scotland tbf, I see you mention east anglia/Suffolk above, and that’s where I’m from and have lived here my whole life, small world lol😂 if it was to be accurately in Suffolk tho, we’d need SmackRats to be added to the species list 🤣lol

To make the reserve encompass all UK species it should be positioned between the North of England and South of Scotland, so it includes the woods, open country and some heights and perhaps some of the castles of South Scotland 👌🏼

How about the new bolt action rifle is in 264 Winchester?

Most of the confir forests in Scotland, are artificially and used for commercial logging

Unfortunately yes, according to the EU Digital Observatory for Protected Areas there is only less than 15.5% forest cover left, almost all of it is herbaceous vegetation, but in any case the ecoregion and tree species that they cover will look very good

It’s not really a case of unfortunately the vast majority of the uk is farmland, and is managed very well.

In historical terms it really is, since the Caledon Forest in Scotland originally covered more than a million hectares and since the Middle Ages it has been reduced to less than 20 thousand hectares, added to the increase in temperature that has almost completely cut off the rate of regeneration and reproduction of pines outside the highlands, currently the Caledon forest is a fairly common object of study in the area of climate ecology xD

Now that we have kangaroos in Australia, red-necked wallabies could be added to a UK map, and New Zealand as well.

Am I the only one, who thinks this is the next map. Back when they released a poll 2 years ago, all listed maps were released other than the uk. The munjac leak in the last survey also fits.

I think all 4 maps were planned 2 years ago. They wanted to release one unique map and one less time consuming filler map each year. This way they can keep releasing two maps a year. But they decided to delay and improve the uk map, cause of the backlash after NEM. Who knows, maybe I am wrong.
