The update download thing is due to how the game is structured: the game is divided into a couple dozen archives that the developers modify each time they add new content to the game or fix something, this is really nice because it makes modding the game extremely hard, but it also means that when you update the game you have to redownload an entire portion of the game

So its very smart and very stupid at the same time

There were like 246 different ways to make the game secure from hackers, but they decided to use one of the least efficient ones lol

Yeah, I originally guessed that you needed to kill a whole flock before they respawned, and that's why there were lone females, but I'd kill those females and just get more lone females showing up

That happens to me a lot I think it's because there's only a certain amount of ducks within the region of which you can attract them so won't you kill 10 ducks you're almost killed all the ducks around you so you either need a lot of sit-ups or continuously restarting

The Ranger .243 is a good gun to start and can also take out the largest of animals, again with a good shot. You can also get free bullets for it to gain practice. 😉

The 7mm is very slow to load and is a single shot monster. It is expensive with ammo if you are not hitting kill shots.

Stick with the Ranger as it is a good gun, I took out a few bison and moose with it early on. So it is possible to take out the larger animals.

The ranger with free ammo is about the best practice/worthy gun you can use. It is worth using it for your first kills/practice runs.

If you like bird hunting there is nothing coming near to this map... for whitetail it is somewhat on par with rancho... for brown bears it might also be an option as medved is really sparse 🙂

@proven ember I like the grelck drilling rifle for bigger animals. But the thing that sells it for me is the versatility it brings as it has three barrels, one for regular bullets and two for shotgun shells so you can bring birdshot or buckshot as well in one rifle.

I had a bug that didn't allow me to enter inventory in the "pause menu".
Fixed it by closing the game, restarting the console and restarting the game.

I had wild goose chase from before, but not duck dlc. After purchasing reventouli dlc it looks like all the waterfoul dummies are available in the game.
Some have been given free in the storage and some have to be purchased. 8000credits for 5 canada goose decoys I think 🤷‍♂️

I Need some help to understand waterfowl behavior with and without decoys.
I've put down decoys, used the caller and the birds are very apprehensive about landing.
Circling in the air and when I spot them it says they're 'defensive'. Is this because I had other species decoys nearby? Decoys clustered too tight together?

“Defensive” means they feel threatened and are hauling it outta there

Usually because they saw/smelled/heard you

Them circling means they are attracted to the decoys and are coming down

Other species decoys usually don’t affect it (speaking from experience as I have the 5x20 on the island)

Yeah, many fazer salmiakkis are good and i cant just remember the name but one picknmix salmiakki in particular is like a gift from heaven, also idr which but one sisu was really good
