So, I live in Northern Sweden and have done so since birth and while I agree with my fellow countryman Wormchild about how uninteresting southern Sweden is in animal diversity, I consider northern Sweden to be a rather unique and desirable setting for a potential map in COTW. The natural landscape here is something else and there's a fair amount of interesting aspects to this region including major military defence installations, the native Sapmi population, and northern lights/midnight sun, most of which could tie in to a potential storyline for the potential reserve.

The animals aren't too interesting being primarily reindeer and moose in most areas but animals such as capercaillie, grouse, and beaver are also pretty common. Bears can be found but are generally very difficult to hunt and are (last I checked) a protected species. Lynx are very, very rare here and as such are a protected species. Wolves are rare here but do exist. Wolverines are also somewhat common, having recently made a return to my region.

By "here" I mean on the northern Swedish coastline just next to the border with Finland.

Disclaimer; I do not hunt personally IRL (yet) so the reality may differ from my description as I am writing purely from memory of my school education.

That extension added to the bridge is a platform normally used in wetlands, it does not contain suspension logs, also that submerged vegetation on the right is very similar to that of a wetland, and considering that the trees are very similar to those of Hirschfelden I risk I assumed that the possible location is in the wetlands of Finland...
