Here is an excerpt from the description "This is followed by 22 chapters on the major river basins. These chapters feature three to five rivers of the basin/region, and cover several other rivers with one-page summaries. Many African countries have their main incoming from the Hunting. They give licences for all the species. And use that money to protect the place. Hunters are not the danger in Africa. Poachers and habitat lost are the problem. With the money from the hunters they can collect founds to the maintenace of the natural habitats. I'veen in Africa many times

Yes, there are many places and species that can be hunted in Africa and they are allowed, but they will not place some animals that are in danger because of the hunt

Hunting elephants is not only legal is neccesary. Elephants now are confined to natural reserves. They can't migrate like in the old times. They start reproduce and destroy the miombo, the nyka and other trees and scrubs that are essential to other species like black rhinos and leaf eater species. Thats why the need cull the population every year.
