I wonder if the gourd is the place of a new map and the water and "deeper" means maybe a dog coming with the map like a retriever or other water dog that retrieves our ducks and geese? I remember TK saying at one time on stream that the dogs were supposed to release with a map, but they had problems or something so they did it separate. Maybe there will also be a dog with whatever new map we get 🙂

I checked the outhouses nearest the outpost the gourd was in and the outhouse next to it. They all looked fine. Checked the cabin camp and all fine. I checked Kraken rope bridge and the water below it, but not the supports and under the ends oif the bridge itself. Nothing I could see offhand

My prediction, which may change depending on what happens in the future, is an African wetlands reserve, with either Hippos or Crocs. I know it’s complicated to add them, but I think one of them would work as a reserve mascot of sorts.

Red dead has a pretty decent base idea when it comes to alligators, add in them regularly moving around on there own to need zones and you would have a decent base mechanic for crocs and gators

Oh and make them run away a bit more for balance purpose is important

The saltwater crocodile in PZ has issues with osteoderms and lacks proper growth change specifically in the tail and head. A big problem with game crocs is the aging and anatomical changes that result when they get bigger

Their gharial is passable but the flow from snout to the rest of the skull is too steep iirc
