I've noticed that between maps we usually get 2 or 3 misc. DLC's, like weapon packs or equipment packs. Maybe we are getting some new equipment like optics. Maybe a new scope for rifle. After looking at the Happy International Womens Day post, that scope on the rifle is a bit big. Just a theory though

My very humble theory goes like this: the SRP logo looks right, and people have always wanted a new lodge and in a cabin setting. The SRP logo delivers on that. One lodge is in Africa, one a European style manor, and a cabin would fit perfect into the maps and the game. TL;DR they’re gonna add a cabin lodge

they have docks on some of the lakes.........so boats are not entirely a bad idea. rafts to hunt from.........i mean its feasible. but dogs are a terrible idea imho. they are loud and will scare other game away unless your on your own map alone and only bird hunting.......would probably hurt the game more than help it

Not sure if anyone has guessed this yet, but I think it is a new Africa map. The main piece of paper has a piece torn out that looks like Africa. And if you look at the dirt behind/beside the leg of the table, it looks like Mt Kilimanjaro from above (with some beautiful cloud coverage at flat summit). I kinda thought the scraps of paper in front of the leg of the table look like lakes around Mt K as well (but that's pushing it). Tanzanian dlc?

They updated ducks (still suck EW talk to me on how to fix them cause I REALLY dont think you've had much irl duck hunting expeirence) which shows progress to dogs

Yep. Its soul crushing. The game makers dont understand that. Otherwise it would ve fixed by now. Lodge issues have been going on for a long time. It takes so many real life hours finding the trophies. Then theres the moment that it hapoens and the happiness it brings. The joy of putting that trophy in the lodge to look back on. Then its lost forever. But theres bigger things for them to think about. Like say what the new DLC should be 🤷 Truth hurts sometimes. Its frowned upon to say such things tho 🤷

Dont forget cougars get ran with dog’s too; I feel like we need EW to drop the current building and start working towards the next gen sequel; as the game sits we can’t have animals in trees and with about the ability to tree a ran animal it’s kinda pointless

Agreed, dogs are great but I don’t really see what they could bring to the game. I personally think that feeds/baits could bring a lot more then dogs. And a rot mechanic where if you kill an animal and don’t harvest it it starts to rot and has like a 20% chance to attract predators in a 200 meter radius to feed on it

Yea that would be awesome. I love duck hunting IRL. I love hunting geese in the game. Its actually one of my favorite things when the geese are working. Id feel the same about ducks if they were like geese.

IDK how much the team actually knows about dogs. I hear a lot about either retrievers or pointers or hybrid dogs. I'm not sure why people say hybrid dogs. The dog in my pic is my pointing Labrador. They can do it all. Theres griffons and tons of dogs that can do it all. Hope they take that into consideration IF theyre adding dogs.

Yea they need to work on the shotties some. IRL the 20 guage doesnt have the same specs as a 12 guage. Thats always annoyed me.

Agreed. Esp IRL youre shooting with both eyes open and see all around the barrel so to speak. As it is in the game your basically aiming as if it was a rifle and can't see the proper line

I said that they need to remove need zones for the water fowl and replace it with flyways like real life; so if you were targeting fowl you could setup along the corridor and see multiple flocks pass through daily.

Tracking is easy but sometimes I lose my animal's track when there are herds and many tracks, or I lose it in mountainous areas or highlands, so the dog can really help. Also, the dog can bring geese to you and this is what I really need, because my gesse is falling in faraway places and I cannot find them.

I really think just making flyways and getting rid of bird need zones all together would make duck hunting great

like i was just chilling at one of my setups on layton and heard some ducks flying by, so i called em in and its super fun, they just dont do it reliably

also making sure they're real and dont have to "break" before you can shoot em like you do in classic is really nice

I feel like selecting 3-5 breeds that are the best in what they do; German Short hair pointers hands down best upland game dog and above average retriever; Beagles are the best small game tracking and running; Chesapeake bay retriever is top for fowl; tree walker coon hounds for bear and lion(but they’d need to implement animals being treed to be worth it)
