When spooked, the animals usually travel 150-200m from their location before turning and walking back - so... however long that can take, and if they re-spook it starts all over

Finally reset my skills and tried the "Keen Eye" skill to discover feed zones and animal groups from lookout point. However the cooldown time is 1800 seconds! (30mins real time) which seems a bit excessive?

All I got was 2 zones added, not very useful?

I haven't tried Darth's method since my tents were already set up for Barasingha and Nilgai, but it seems like it could work to discover Tahr feed zones if you do it his way.

You only get 2-5 zones each time you use the skill

even after 10 reloads it keeps drip feeding 2 zones

It may be faster to round around the area spotting zones

and yes, I tented next to the tower as soon as I found out how slow it was and that quitting would reset timer
