Turns out the reason the new rifle is just a 4-8 might be the cartridge EW based their info on. It was apparently changed 2 times due to complaints about "vicious recoil untenable to the average man"

I think most of the problem would fix itself if the structures reducing hunting pressure was removed after 3 animals where killed in an area
