Moose are on literally every body of water and the hot spots are going to vary widely from that map. You'll probably have to rotate for a couple days before you have a solid idea of hot spots and dead zones.

It does NOT account the actual kill shot information. It only accounts for the weapon you have drawn at the time of harvest, including a "scopeless" weapon.

I'd agree with you if the muzzle loader had missed too. I did an experiment where I shot 6 moose with the .300 almost point blank and none of the shots connected. Shot 6 more nearly point blank with the muzzle loader and all 6 shots connected.

Really? The Kullman? I just don't find myself using it all that much. I get that it has the 1-2 spread but i find I encounter 2s so rarely that a pistol or shotgun is more weight efficient or versatile

I'll use it if there's a lot of 2s to hunt and I want something to quickly long-shot a bird with, maybe a hare, but I have to admit im a little confused... what's the point of the new .22lr ammo? Increased penetration on .22lr seems... irrelevant? You hit a 1 with a .22lr and it's dead instantly, isn't it?

Eh... Kullmann = 2.5 kg and >200m shoot range..what shotgut is "more weight efficient" that can do this? I'm using the cullmann for a week - and have it almost the whole time. Shooting bird-stuff and foxes & co.

Shotgun will run everything from 1-8 with one firearm, similar to bows in that regard except that shotguns are better for rapidly downing multiple birds for quick cash

I've also had problems mission tasks not registering. Do we need to do tasks in order or what? In other maps that hasn't been necessery. The muzzleloader registered after I shot a second moose. Now I have killed an animal from over 100m with a bow two times and it doesn't register

Ive never shot one and I don't doubt they're tough, but there's no way that thing has the same degree of hide thickness, muscle mass, and fat as a bison or water buffalo.

Like, IRL, they have a LOT of blood in their circulatory system and they have a thick skull to survive getting tossed around by animals larger than themselves

Apparently for the rare occasions where lion hunting is permitted, the minimum required caliber is .375 H&H or equivalent

not that it’s replicated 100% in game, but you get the idea

I do wish that their durability and true danger was better replicated in game tho

Like, jack their actual health way up and make them a lot more likely to go aggressive

I like how moose are aggressive now, but I've been attacked now by more moose than anything else.
Including grizzlies.
