Murphy my old gsd was like her, he’d do everything humanly and inhumanly possible to avoid taking any meds

You should look into trying fish on him some time - idk if it's hard to get where you are but when I was working at the pet store we did egg, chicken, some veggies, and like 3 blueberries for one meal portion and then next feed he would get like, egg, fish, veggies, and some other fruit

Usually the fish we offered was uhm.. cod? but thats cos it was inexpensive and we could get it in bulk (lived on the seacoast)

We also offered FT baby quail occasionally, which if you cant find locally, I know Rodent Pro might ship to customers directly. I dont think theyre restricted to wholesale only

Yeah only downside is right now he has to come out a few times a day to get exercise and whatnot as he is stuck in a 40 breeder until his new 8-foot enclosure gets here as his old 4 ft one got broken during the move

Hey if it's what you want to do then you should do it. I started my shop from basically nothing. Everyone told me it wasn't doable I had about £3000 and that was it. But I grafted and built everything from the ground up.

Unfortunately, I'd need the space for a pair of hyacinth macaws - with room for flight. Not to mention the birds alone, in the US, couldnt be found from wholesalers we knew for less than 15,000USD

A pet store not far from mine sold one for 40k.

And finding a breeder who isnt going to scam you out of money is difficult at best. Hard to trust people when they can get a photo from anywhere online.

The tank is actualy very clean, its got a pond fillter actacted to it.. as its currently my holding tank for carp and tench.. who as people know silt up the tank everytime they feed mulching around the bottom stiring it up like pigs.. "also why carp haters refer to them as lake pigs" and are the very reason why carp fishery lakes turn to coloured water once carp becone established as they constantly make it so.. and clear waters turn green over time.. so as Tyk said its a pond tank.

they love it too, the hutch inside is always open so they can roam the little cabin which has their litterboxes and waterbowl, but they spend a lot of their time just sleeping and grooming each other in the hutch, it’s their little safe-space, and for that reason I call it ‘The Bunker’ but they have free access to the big enclosure as long as the sun is out, then they get some food to convince them to go into their cabin just before the sun goes down.

and they have their own little schedules too, they always sleep and groom each other for a few hours in the middle of the day, and they’re almost always outside in the big enclosure before they get inside for the night, and if they aren’t outside just before, they’ll be out before you can get inside the enclosure.

After i blanked wednesday despite my groundbait, and deep in contempation of why, i decided to carefully test my groundbait mix with a small bait ball periodicly and watch my pond tank in study.. and once the fish became confident that i was further away and could no longer see me holding my carmira "smart buggers know when im photoing them and play up" but once i was a safe distance to them them gorged on my groundbait and pigged around the area even after the water started to clear again.. proving my mix wasnt the issue.. but then what was.. as i saw a few large carp inbound to my baited swim but once they got close the suddenly turned away like they were upset.. but my tank fish were fine once i was no longer shadowing the glass.. so what could be the issue?

And yes its a mature tench.. the ones in my small park welsh lakewater are up to 6lb which is a nice size.. the still photo of tench are adult but the ones he caught were small compared yo what im after.. though some nice new ones have also been stocked, with 9lb bream too and golden rudd would nd dream first catches.. 🙂

Sadly my pet is slow growing as it takes them x4 years to reach mating maturety.. compares to fast growing carp..
