Make sure you're dusting their feeders with the right supplements, that they're getting the UV they need, and that their environment is properly set up. I do brush my 2 cats, yet Cleo (Calico) has too thick of hair and has legit broken off combs before and to where you'll say goodbye to any nice fur free clothes. My tank of goldfish and carp are still doing realy well, and i love them... but i now have concluded a problem in the near furture.. my lovely carp named Steel, who im not sure is a Koi or a Common Carp.. has grown well indoors and on good food.. but is now getting big for his tank.. as you can see by the water he and the tench have turned it green with silt as they muck about classic of a carp pond or lake.. but family difficulties have pushed my garden build up and raised pond contruction back until at least next spring... how can i slow his growth down without being detrimental to him or my beloved tench's health?

Carp are hardy af, though, so you should be able to trim back feedings to three to four times a week and be fine; if you feed daily

i suggested that to mum, who aslo works in the pet breeding like myself.. and she said not to cut his feed for it would starve the other goldfish sharing the tank and in furture his pond.. and through we've cut the heating to the tank its indoors so it won't chill enough to send him into his winter sleep and fast.. so not much we can do through she thinks i'll have time to finish the garden clearing this winter "wet weather permitting" and make the spring build a prioety with the rased pond the first piroety.. but its alot of work and money so i need pull my pants up to hep her house builds first..

aka its my motivation to keep my fish..

Trying once again to photograph my camira shy tench, Sage.. but along with issues such as glass reflect "can afford new tank bulbs to counter" and the fish constsntly moven.. getting him out in the open is even harder.. i swear he recognizes the phone.. and waiting like a camira trap just to gain a few photos of poor qualety.. but on a hindnote you do get to see the enviromentsl effect carp give water close up.. the water is surprisingly clean with a powerful filter, but the carp's and tench's pig like mulching has turned the water green and cloudy with silty particles and perticuly foggy after i fed them..
