Hey all, i reseved announcing these new little guys for i was holding my breath, after the two winter litters were unsuccesful, but now i'm confident after tonights nest inspection that all is going well, though i held back for the 1st week as it was too early to risk disturbing the nest, but now the new kittens are starting to scrabble out on their own means and mum will let me touch them if only breflify, its time, though still being carefull i made an atempt to count the nest and i belive there must be at least 6 if not 7 new baby bun buns growing up ready this early spring, and with lockdown clearing in only a couple of weeks, my hopes are to make some little kids fresh out of lockdown, smile and jump, when i sell these little cuteys of qualitey into the little corner petstores accepting them.. its a great little hope thats blowing in with spring 🥰

I used to keep African Giant Snails too. (Albino fulicas.) They are lovely! But I got tired of fighting the mites and the constant laying of eggs.

Yeah I never got Fulicas because of the eggs, I don't think I could keep on top of that either! My boy is an Archachatina Marginata Ovum, their species aren't considered invasive as they only lay up to a dozen eggs at a time. Their eggs are huge too so you can't miss them, almost the size of a pingpong ball! He lives alone and hasn't produced sexually yet (he's about 4 so I don't think he will ever) but of he did I would be over the moon 😂 As for mites, they freaked the hell out of me at the beginning, I used to use cheaper coir. I switched to using eco earth (and use boiling water when mixing it) and haven't seen a single mite or parasite since :) I still use gloves though just incase

We had a calico that was half the size of our smallest boy cat, yet every single one of them would visibly and very deliberately give her a wide berth whenever they passed by. Instead of going in a straight line they'd reach a certain distance and do a semi circle around her, lol! She lived to be like 14 years old and even survived an attack from 2 stray dogs at once.

Oh boy! Jasper’s only the third cat I’ve ever owned (I’m allergic) but she was the sole surviving kitten at my parents farm and my fiancé begged to bring her home. Now she’s extremely attached to my female shepherd mix (doesn’t care for my purebred male though). She’s a turd and loves to attack feet especially when we’re asleep...

So she was born a fighter! Haha. Glad she made a friend. Our cats were outside because we're (Mildly) allergic. Washing hands after petting them really helps. Also certain foods can help control how allergenic they are too, but you'll have to do some research.

well most of the dandilions have given up their flowers now seeded and their growth focus is fully into their rapidly growing leaves.. which is now the best time to harvest my rabbits faverate treat, full of nutrition and yum.. just not to be given too much or to the very young for it can cause gout. the bunnys love this handfed treat and best of all its free all season. 😋

Saying goodbye to coal and daisy as i took them to the petshop wasnt hard but please too see them recived so well, i wish i could be that fly on the wall when a worthy child comes to get one and be overwhelmed with their grin, but the same day was not just good bye for now their hutch was empty i was moving the younger litter of five into it, and to my surprise i discoverd a fresh new litter taking their place in the main hutch.. even i didnt expect back to back litters so quickly, i guess its a shame i get so little for them compared to the petstores sales.. but then its not about money is it 😊

This is my calico, she is a girl and she likes to bite me but only me. She's technically a hunter when we have insects invading a house, because she will legit eat them up and then exit them perfectly fine. She one time ate a wasp, while it was still alive with a stinger intact and got rid of it with no medical issues afterwards
