Update on my little baby: she’s doing great, it’s been almost 24 hours since the spotting and she’s feeling good. But the top of the enclosure gets too hot with both UVB and a heat lamp. So I turned off the heat lamp and it sits at 76. My heat lamp does have a dimmer, but would it be better to alternate the two heat sources? Or just primarily use UVB?

Honestly I’ve never had to use a heat lamp. Their temp range should be between 18-28 degrees c and with any kind of heater, it gets too hot in the uk. Some say they need a heat lamp but honestly if it’s getting too hot with both I’d just prioritise the uvb
