Very likely she got a nasty leech while exploring the bushes in our backyard, she's 15.5 years old, has a grade 5 heart murmur, and only weighs 3.5ish kg so the anticoagulant in the leech bite made her bleed a lot and she's got a haematoma across the entire front of her neck but shes okay other than that after spending the day at the clinic LOL

i'll get better photos soon i have like 5000 photos on my phone im not going through all of that

we made the choice to get her put to sleep, she had a heart murmur and her heart was getting bigger because it was working harder, and it was too big and pushing all her other organs

we got her when i was 3 and im 18 now i dont remember not having her with us, her name is peaches she is a shih tzu cross maltese and shes almost 16 years old, life expenctancy for them is 12-14 years

she wasn't in any pain and she was in her favourite persons arms when she left us <3

He's still a bit out of it after anesthesia but his teeth were in perfect shape, only had a small amount of tartar that had to be removed! But no gingivitis or tooth resorption 🐈
