The vet autopsied her before they cremated her and turns out she had a huge tumor in her chest. So nothing we could have really ever expected. Still hurts but it feels a little better knowing it's not my fault.

so i was heart broken

Hit up your local pet stores and look for a brand of wet cat food called Weruva
Look for the pouches not the cans.
They have ones that are juicy and there are ones that are ESPECIALLY juicy like - literally called gravies or soemthing

might be easier to mix the powder in

and they're human grade food quality (you could literally eat their foods, its literally shredded chicken etc)

The problem I’m having is the powder doesn’t really dissolve, I’ve used similar products to attempt to make it palatable but she’s just not having it

It’s incredibly grainy, like it’s insane how chunky it is, it’s like uncooked quinoa

I’ve kind of given up, I mixed in in some very wet food + the gravy and if she doesn’t touch it tonight I’m gonna call the vet and say “let’s just test her” bc if she can’t take the meds there’s not much else I can do, the way I see it 💀💀

I’m really like 90% certain it’s asthma, it only happens when the weather changes significantly or if we’ve been outside when the pollen is really bad and come back inside, but I also can see why the new vet might think I’m a panicking cat mom 🤣 Saul is already pretty skittish, she’s just now at 1.5 years getting used to me doing her nails/ears/toe fur so I fear holding her down and forcing meds will just make her distrust me 😅
