Most chicks look pretty similar. The only difference is that two have these white markings on their face (like the one photo i sent) and the others dont. This leads me to believe they are the barred rock / maran crosses and the others are rhode island red crosses

we shaved/styled all our problematic cats and dogs ourselves, yea, over the years that's been 2 maine coon cats, 1 persian and 3 dogs that had to be shaved either due to winter pelt shedding issues or simply because it was impossible to brush out all the knots
honestly, all it takes is a bit of patience and getting the cat/dog used to the process and it's rather easy

I guess according to the groomer he was really good, gave them no issues and they called me in like 30 minutes after dropping him off to pick him up. the appointment was set for 2 hours but literally done in 30, kinda high price to pay for 30 minutes of work but it is what it is. will definitely be finding a different groomer if he's gonna be an easy customer, and not sure I want him fully shaved lol. I was expecting them to brush out his heavy coat, get all of his shedding fur and undercoat, trim nails, give him a bath, but I guess I didn't ask full details of the service lol

he refuses frozen thawed, like. WILL NOT for the life of him touch it
and I've run the gamut of feeding snakes
from days old hatchlings to adults who have been off feed
so.. personally my stance is feed what they will eat - but also if feeding live and its not a helpless baby, be prepared to stun and or unalive the food for the snake

honestly, pee pads. Four Paws brand, if you'Re in the states.
Put them where the dog pees, encourage them to pee on the pads
weekly move the pad a few inches towards the door
like on Sunday or something
should be a matter of weeks before you get the dog transitioned to going outside
also, figure out how often they wanna go. Usually about 15-20 minutes after eating its a safe bet to bring them outside and I guarantee they will pee and probably even eliminate.
Praise them for using the pads, praise them for using the outside
do not yell at them, that brings negativity towards going to the bathroom and makes them more inclined to hide accidents or hold it longer
Would you yell at a toddler and smush their nose in their faeces? No. Don't do it to your dog who has a sense of smell many hundreds of times better than a human. That's just fucked
You can point at it and tell them no, and then and I cannot stress this enough use a pee pad to clean it up. If it's just pee, do your best to let it sit for a bit so the pup can associate the smell of pee on the pads
I think it took me a month tops to get Keeonah to go from peeing all over our first apartment to peeing on pads to peeing outside
You can also do the sleighbell method - where you get a couple sleighbells and attach them to a hanging strip that goes on the front door -
and when you are taking the dog outside you can do word association.
Say: Potty! or Outside!! and jingle the bells firmly, then walk the dog outside
they'll get to a point where they will start to nose the bells when they want to go out for whatever reason
Its aggravating, but the payoff is awesome. You know.. No pee puddles or permanently stinky house
Also, if the dog didnt go to the bathroom when you took it outside you have two options
either go for like a 20 minute walk (usually the yard was too stimulating and Keeonah was way to interested in sniffing everything) or resign yourself to taking the dog out every ten minutes or so until they DO go to the bathroom

They have tiny breaks similar to COF, and the way they carry their head and neck - and the chest ruffle... by are missing their head crest (or at least isn't visible in that pic)

do also, if you buy feeder fish for it, REALLY make sure you know where they get their fish, how they treat them (if they treat them) when they are shipped to the store - hell, ask if you can look at their tanks where they keep the feeders
and ask how often they clean the tanks

southern (Florida) ones get like 3' long
and northern stay between 1.5-2'
And unless you've got an established pond environment in the tank, with proper substrate, plants and wood-root setups for them, that you're gonna be pulling water changes like every few days, and rinsing the filter 2-4x a week

I - personally - recommend starting with just the one, and do a (easy plant) planted aquascape and keep the one fish for a bit before going all gung ho and insisting on 10 tanks lmao
