I think I only ever had 3 max, and they were SO different. One was an angsty little butthead, who liked attention, but on his terms. The female was my heart and soul, just full companion mode. And my dad's was albino and an absolute terrorist

Agreed. It's the only reason I kept to small reptiles, a single bird, betta fish and the dog and the cat. Everyone got enough attention - but the reality was I had no more space for additional.
I rehomed the bird and the dragon when I moved, and took the cat and dog to Europe with me when I moved - the snake will come over once I'm a bit more established and not needing to come back over so frequently

And honestly... I miss having the betta and my bird

Ball pythons typically only eat once a week. They eat meals that are like 10% of their body weight, so eating daily is bad for them.

They are picky eaters. You can offer food but that doesn't mean they eat
