I enjoy shooting the males

It’s not like whitetail or red deer where’s there a plethora of them so it’s like a reward when you get one

I started out dreading this grind because of the lions but I like it now

I have two red GOs

One is apparently hitting the glass ceiling of being max weight

After I get one GO black bear I will focus on whitetail

I want three so I can do a huddle

I enjoy grinding - I know a lot of people don’t and it goes against the nature of hunting but it’s something I find joy in

I have gotten to about 3.5k without one

Struggle is real

But at least you get some diamonds and rares out of it

I stopped with Layton when Rancho came out, got tired of Rancho, tried MA but hated it, went back to Rancho and disliked it

I've shot 24k wt with 2 GO, one at 7,400 and the other at 8,000

And since then I've also shot 9k stags

No GO red deer either

Or super rares of either kind

About 140 or 150 diamond wt and not even a piebald diamond for me

Cuz I got my last at 8k kills, I have in total 24k wt and shot 9k stags after so that actually equals out to 25k kills

Well the way the maps work is the game will spawn a certain amount of larger animals and smaller animals

We actually found a way to spawn diamonds faster as well but I haven't done it on the new update cuz my zones are fucked

Like at first I would only grind the small animals

Until I spawned as many lv2s and 3s as I can for red deer

And once they capped out I shot lv5+

So my map eventually spawned more lv4s as well

So the game spawned more larger animals to balance it

At that point I got a lv9 every single run except 3 out of 25 runs

And I had 3 or 4 where I got 2 diamonds on the same run

One time I had 2 diamonds and a troll on the same run

The first night I tried it I got like 8 diamond stags in about a couple hours or something like that

Yea for WT it would be way harder cuz they only have 3 levels and u would have to guess about what scores u wanna spawn

Yeah I mean u could go by the rack shape

Like shoot as many of the racks slightly bigger than fence racks until you spawn more fence racks

And spawn as many fence racks as you can then only shoot like the medium size up

I wanna scan my map and see how many lv3s and under I have for red deer again

And then shoot lv4s and 5s only and try to spawn more 3s and 2s

Then I'm gonna slaughter any lv5 plus and leave the small ones on my map

A Great One is basically a rarer diamond

I've noticed something interesting about WT zones (not sure about reds)

if you see a herd, and there's one doe standing away from the others, there's a good chance that she's a lone doe that just happens to share the same zones.

and nuking her will oftentimes spawn in a new herd.
