So, I kill 50 red deer stags in 25-30 minutes on Te Awaroa on console with collecting only 5-7 from one drink zone to have money for ammo and sleep for next run and so on ... how do I do it?!
So the first thing, they drink from 18:30-21:00 on Te awaroa and for me it is still daylight from 18:30-19:00 and visible night vision from 19:00-20:00 and it only gets foggy and rains after 20:00, so I just do my run between 18:30-20:00 and boom, rain isn't a problem.
Second, don't grind on every single lake where they drink, choose 5-6 that you're comfortable with and grind only on those lakes.
Third, It's impossible to do this fast without tents and tripods. I have one tent on each side of my lakes that I'm grinding and a tripod right next to each one. I fast travel to one tent, get on tripod, boom, shoot 5-6 stags on other side, fast travel to the opposite side and, boom another 5-6 (or more) in another side, and the same on all lakes (tent placement I'm using the same as Scarecrow had on his guide on YouTube)
Just do this and you can easily kill 40-60 stags in one run (25-30min)

I have like 18 zones I go to every run and each run is 45 minutes, meaning about 20-36 deer per run and 1 1/3 runs per hour. 30-42 deer per hour. But that’s whitetail and on Layton. And with claiming at least 10 for every run.

so, after i said maybe something is blocking it similiar to how ddiamonds can be blocked from spawning, i found a piebald yote on my map so far
gonna keep searching, then check collared peccary. after ive checked all species will return to GO grind
