They changed it because too many people were using it to "retake" shots on diamonds/rares/GOs, which feels pretty cheap and lessens the importance of actually being good at the game.

Though you can still manage it if you get a really bad shot and close out the game before the animal actually dies...

Hear me out, this is what I wanted since idk when ... North Pole map with Arctic landscape ... the animals: Polar bear, Arctic fox, Musk Ox, Walrus (they got the swimming mechanics with gators right already) Reindeer (or Caribou) Arctic wolves, Moose and Wolverine. And the sweat top of that map (like snowing in Yukon) will be that we will have Northern lights at night and it won't be too dark to hunt!
