Is that a bug? Often times when you scare off a herd, they'll drink further away from their zone... that lake just happens to be pretty close to the edge of the map

I grinded Layton a lot for whitetail and did not get a GO. Then on rancho I got 3 GOs in less than a thousand kills. Grinded the same way, kill everything, almost never harvested but quit the game instead. I believe some maps (populations) are just more predisposed to a certain species and that's it. You can call it 'methods' or whatever, in the end some people got maps which spawn more juice in that species than other.

I've said this before, but I think a Siberian tiger Great One on Medved would be amazing. It would spawn off a lynx, only very, very rarely leave tracks, have completely different need zone times, etc. (and these would not be visible to the player). When first sighted, or a track discovered, a "quest giver" would pop up and explain you are allowed to hunt it because it had killed some children (etc.) and therefore needed to be put down. For players who object to this (and there are some), they would have a tiger roaming their map, which is cool as well.

Up to you, if it's somewhere you regularly check, like on a lake with other herds, I'd shoot some in the hopes of stags spawning. But if it's on a lake you don't check as often, I'd leave them be

Thats probably my fav version. Its between that and the good looking one with drop tines. There's 2 versions with drop tines but one of the variations the drop tines look like nipples. I hate that one. The one I like seems to be super,super rare. But so happy ya got one. Im still grinding for 1.

I liked way back before the WT GO youd find WT and BT sharing the same zones. I once had aroumd 15 WT and 8-10 BT in the same zones. Now it seems all species are seperated and rarely in the same area together anymore 😭
