i mainly only kill males unless there is a zone i dont like to hunt

sometimes i will also leave a doe zone

if its in a bad place

as if you dont kill that group and full nothing should get added to it

so it saves time by leaving it alone

basically if you have a few places that are bad or time consuming to grind. leave the group there if full and dont touch it.

then focus on the better areas

there is no special way. layton lakes you shoot upto 2 males per zone.

rancho you can do that or just shoot as many males as you want. as drink need zones are always around lakes.

people are different. some people have played classic which helps understand the game more than someone who hasnt. some people just pick things up easier. notice things quicker. lots of reasons

but some people dont get trophy animals at the start and tbh i alway tell new people not too rush out and try and get diamonds as that will often lead to dissapointment.

just have fun for a start level up get some money and when you ready then start to play at a more indepth level.

I've been grinding whitetail on rancho and been getting incredibly lucky with rares. I have 2 melanistic bucks and a piebald doe after 464 kills. But, I still don't have any diamonds after that amount of kills. I shoot most of my deer with the 300 to get them down. Will that make my response worse or something, or is it just bad luck?

rancho you can get away with just slaughtering whitetail.

layton i use two bucks community method rancho i just shoot whatever males i see

the reason for this is they go round the same lakes and will still spawn around them

Kill doe at good lakes and bucks at bad lakes and then there will be more buck at your good lakes and doe at your bad lakes

I technically only hunt 3 lakes since the other lakes I made them have a ton of doe

Also don't get your good herds down to a single deer or else they won't respawn

But if there's 5 deer try to shoot 3 of them

Just to be more efficient

balance hunting pressure. you basically want your whitetail needzones clear of hunting pressure so you get full respawn.

some people balance this lake to lake. i personally go hunt elsewhere slaughter everything then return at a new day start to the whitetail lakes

rancho is good for this as many areas can hold lots of herds of animals.

top right corner has probably 50 -100 mule deer. bottom mountain areas probably has 50 -100 other mixture of animals.

so imagine your 7 or 8 lakes for whitetail have hunting pressure on.

you go to one or both of those locations and slaughter whatever you see.

then go back to your whitetail lakes the next day. they will be totally clear of hunting pressure. so its like a fresh start.

Yea it seems after the last update rares are more common now than diamonds. Before id get 5 diamonds before even a chance at a rare fur type. My count now is 3 rares to every 1 diamond. Not sure why they totally switched things up. Wouldve been a good question for the dev yesterday.

Rares are as...rare, as ever for me.

Yep id agreed to that. After update got 2 BENOS to every piebald thingy. Have I mela and 1 diamond. Thats with 450 deers killed.

Yep. But they def changed something or maybe it was accidental but me always had it opposite where diamomds where way easier than rare furs

for me its still the same. my rares are spawning every 3 diamonds or so

mine show up every 300-500 kills, my diamonds every 100-250 kills and ive had the same consistency for the pask 11.5k kills

i need to go count how many total diamonds i have now it has to be over 100

There's fundamentally no difference between PC and Console.

Correction, there is a difference. Much harder for console players to hack the game.

Otherwise, it's the same exact game no matter the console. There is no difference aside from your own RNG luck.

Hacks? No I dont hacks. My brother no hacks. We just play. I domt agree. The m1 thing is junk on console bit moneys on pc. I can kills 5 deers on his pc and maybe 2, 3 if we're lucky on me console.
