I dont think your respawns depend on big one coming back bigger.. It seems to be completely random and the hackers have more or less confirmed it... The GO for example appears in multiplayer as a very small whitetail and when mine bugged out they became very small ones.. I think as much as we all look for a linear path or a pattern its actually completely random... Youtubers and streamers will always try to convince that there is a path of progress because without it their theories and content wouldnt be so interesting... Dont beleive everything you are told... Infact don't beleive what i am saying either... Look at the game with an open mind... Its crazy what you can see!

When i first started grinding i only killed the big ones... I had seen a video on youtube where the guy said they come back in the same class with a small chance of being bigger... Soon i ran out of big ones... It was only when i started popping the shitters that my population normalised... I fully beleive that you can shoot the smallest of whitetail and it has a chance of coming back as the biggest, not just as a great one... Basically... A male spawns a male random size and random fur.

i have some zones that are close to each other, so they share same tent.. normally i shoot one, and then go to main menu, cuss the other zone spook when i shot the other.. last night i shot the first, and then i was lazy, so i shot the second same time, cuss i could see them running away. that zone normally have 4 animals, so i shot 2 bucks on the run.. i was unlucky, and it turned out that zone only had 3 animals that particular time, so i ended up with only a doe there.. - so, i have a zone i wanted to swap it for, that has a outpost close, so i dont need tent for it.. first thing i see when i get there, is the biggest lvl3 i've gotten so far.. - that buck was not there before, cuss i have checked all my zones when i was setting up for the grind.. so now i feel like i have to check every single zone one more time, to see what else can have spawned in, in the zones i dont hunt in my route-- daym

it is pretty simple once you grind a bit if the zone had males before and there is space they will return

so I have inadvertently managed to kill off all my zones on the main river in LL...not helpful as now have to scratch around in thick shrubs on the outwkirts of the map as no WT are spawning.....I cant wait for the new map for console....rest assured I wont be marking any need zones for any other animal other than WT!!!!

be careful when uhunt on Layton.. i see that my zones can vary.. sometimes its 4 animals in the zone, sometimes 3 and sometimes even 5.. so get a visual before u shoot.. make sure u dont shoot ur zone down to one animal

yea.. i like it on layton .. seems pretty consistent on the zones.. it varies a little, so need to pay attention to the numbers before shooting, so i dont have another accident

Yea the GO can show on the "version" of the game we have on console ATM. But still bugged and we actually have better odds of getting a fake/bunk GO than a real one. Best advise is to not waste your time and wait for the update whenever that happens this year 🤷

Wouldn't hold my breath. Everybody gave me crap about saying it would be end of august/early september way back when it was announced. Think I may have given them too much credit. Probably mid to end of September. It failed cert a second time so This will look like NZ release was a fast release 😹

IDK how long youve played but just be prepared for a different version of what weve seen from all the CC content. They'll drastically dial down the GO spawn rate. Was expected,like every pc release,that the trophies on the map will be in abundance,then they dial down spawn rates after initial release. All we've seen is to add hype and excitement for sales. Will be a totally different game by the time we get it. The GO will be as rare as it was before on Layton before all the hype. Its marketing strategy 🤷

Initial release to pc and what we recieve on console are 2 totally different versions. Happens everytime. Pc release is the "prototype" so to speak. They see when spawn rates are out of control then they adjust and we on console get what was actually intended.

Before this Wed see a GO once every 3 weeks maybe. Now we see 3-5 everyday. Yes more people are playing but now so many people have 3-5 multiples as if theyre "easy" to get by grinding. Thats not how they intended it to be. Trust me,the day we actually get this update,not talking Rancho specifically,it'll be as rare as intended and you could grind a year solid and never find one. Thats how theyre supposed to be. If you get 1,its your lottery ticket and once in a lifetime opportunity

Its not just a reset on layton.. They have changed the need zones to make grinding more difficult.. Pretty much every need zone is now in an area thats very hard to farm from distance and its now very hard to move from zone to zone quickly and efficiently

I can definitely confirm that there is a respawn issue in the game. I know my zones on Layton pretty well by now, and i can tell if someting is not right. for the most part it helps to restart the game, but also sometimes that's not enough.. if i do another time reset, and a restart, then it's back to normal. - just a heads up for new players, and ppl new to the grind who doesn't know about this problem

i think the thing is sometimes the bucks dont come back the same to each spot or at the exact same time so it gives a impression something might be up.

i can come to a zone where there normally are 3 bucks and a doe.. sometimes when i get there, there is only the doe.. i do what i wrote, and they are all back

well some of it explains why it may happen. imagine you load in whitetails load in and bobcat near by the whitetail may not go to the zone or wait or take a longer route

Yeah deer come back after some time to dead zones because they don’t respawn in the ones you killed em ,, can’t really say restarting brings them back but I’m sure restarting help those deer change zones and they will eventually spawn on a zone you don’t have animals at

I’m sure if you absolutely pick everything up you will eventually spawn something at the zones you have nothing at even if you don’t restart the game but it takes days IRL for deer to come back and who leaves the game running for days picking everything up it’s most likely that mode people will restart their game so who knows
